International Seabed Authority Announces New Training Opportunities

KINGSTON, JAMAICA, 1 February 2012 --The ISA today announced the availability of training opportunities for suitable candidates from developing countries.
The training falls into three broad categories:
- At-sea training onboard contractor vessels;
- Bursaries and fellowships to allow candidates to participate in scheduled or specific training programmes; and
- Engineering training.
It is expected that over 15 training opportunities will become available, starting in 2012.
Prospective trainees are requested to register their interest to trgopps@isa.org.jm
