The Secretariat of the International Seabed Authority (ISA) is accepting proposals for consultancy services to draft a report on oceanographic assessment using scientific data in ISA’s DeepData database.
The consultancy will aim to describe the dynamic oceanographic processes at global/regional scales and improve existing oceanographic models for the international seabed area (the Area).
The consultant should have the requisite background in deep-sea scientific research and physical/chemical oceanography in order to review oceanographic data submitted by ISA contractors to the ISA DeepData database, and prepare an assessment and recommendations to improve data collection.
